The Role:

The Business Development Representative role at Bus.com is a ground floor opportunity to build your career with Bus.com. This role will involve researching partnership opportunities, making new contacts, introducing our potential partners and event promoters to the benefits and features of Bus.com, and guiding them through the trip creation process. You will be part of the engine that drives our revenue growth.

The Business Development Representative must be equally at ease working enthusiastically with prospective and current partners as they will be committed to all of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into a great sales experience. Excelling at this job will require a relentless commitment to building and maintaining great relationships with our partners, a strong sense of teamwork and a proactive, do-before-you're-asked attitude.

The job:

From your first day you will:

  • Follow-up with and manage qualified leads by phone and email

  • Identify product fits and curate tailored pitches and experiences for your clients

  • Learn fast and execute on our sales process with prospective clients

  • Own proposal creation and delivery

  • Manage client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

  • Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas

  • Handle all other duties and responsibilities as defined by management

Requirements:

  • Experience in a sales environment is a plus

  • Strong customer-service, people, time-management and organizational skills.

  • Flexibility and a willingness to learn on the fly

  • Outgoing, proactive, driven, ambitious, and determined to succeed

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral (French and/or English)

  • Familiarity with CRM software - bonus

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary and commission structure

  • Base salary range $35,000 - $40,000 + commission structure. On target earnings, minimum $55,000.
